Dear World,

I spent the worst two weeks of my life thinking about why this happened, how could one of my roommates steal from me?

It’s been a tough couple of months for all of us. My main goal was keeping my mental-health up, so I decided to spend my quarantine time with two of my best friends because I know they are the only ones can cheer me up all the time. They are “Loved and Trusted Friends”.

Staying with them took me back three years ago! I was staying in a dorm room with two of my high school friends and it was my first year of film school. I just got a brand new Mac Pro and my first DSLR camera so I was living the dream! Or at least I thought that, until one morning I woke up and my stuff was gone! I was in complete shock, I couldn’t believe it - or maybe I didn’t want to believe they are just gone! The first thing that came to my mind was calling one of my friends asking them what I should do because my brain was not processing what had happened. I spent the worst two weeks of my life thinking about why this happened, how could one of my roommates steal from me? It was just a theory that one of my roomates stole, so there was nothing proved yet.

During these two weeks I saw my real friends storming their brains and asking my roommates questions in different ways and different formats so they could get an answer about anything! I was just about to give up, but I didn’t feel that from them, they were by my side trying their best and ensuring me that they will find my stuff whatever it takes! What made our mission harder that there was no CCTV in the dorm except one old and dusty one, which was found by pure luck, and it was my second hero! The CCTV showed the truth.

The truth was tough but that’s life and we have to accept it. I learned my lesson, maybe the hard way, but it was worth it. The lesson is "Love all, trust a few”. You can love or like whoever you want but trusting is a big step. So take my advice and think twice before you trust, because it's wild out there! and put your full trust just in your “loved and trusted friends” who will always be there for you.

Sincerely,

Love All, Trust A Few.
