Dear World,

When the coronavirus outbreak came to Spain, I could not believe that all my effort to get here was simply useless.

When the coronavirus outbreak came to Spain, I could not believe that all my effort to get here was simply useless. The last years of my life I have spent using my knowledge as an architect in the reconstruction of schools in areas affected by natural disasters such as the earthquakes in Nepal and Mexico.

I left Guadalajara, Mexico to come to Barcelona to study a Master's degree in urban planning. The interesting thing about this teaching was being able to get to know neighborhoods first hand to see what a planned city like Barcelona is like. So when the confinement laws came and I was forced to be confined to a house, I thought this was going to be a waste of time for me.

But the truth is that as the days passed we recovered the classes telematically and all that extra time that the confinement had given me I have been able to use to read, study and in one way or another also grow.

Sincerely,

GROWTH
