Dear World,

I hope this social distance returns us to being spiritually grounded.

Journaled on day 24 of the Quarantine: Feeling- Lost, seeing silver linings, searching for answers.

In this short time I have watched daughters become mothers and mothers transition to memories. Meteorologists aren’t confirming the weather as much but the internet is constantly conducting temperature checks. Sheltering in place is (modestly) reducing the greenhouse effect though climate change hasn’t changed how cold this world is to black and brown people. I hope this social distance returns us to being spiritually grounded. We live in a world where our global economy thrives when there is a spiritual and moral deficit. What is the cure for a pandemic whose people are the plague? All my thoughts have deep voices...

Sincerely,

All Of My Thoughts Have Deep Voices
